Ordination Service for Mike Robertson
Call to Worship (Responsively)
L: We gather together to worship God.
P: We gather because we have seen.
L: We have seen a bush aflame,
P: And yet it was not consumed.
L: We have seen the five small loaves,
P: And yet there is bread leftover.
L: We gather because we have heard. We have heard God’s voice in mighty thunder
P: And in sighs too deep for words.
L: We have heard God’s name on a mountaintop,
P: And we have heard God call our names.
L: We have seen. We have heard.
P: We are here. Let us worship God together!

Scripture
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:10-11
