Next Sunday, May 19 you are invited to wear red, yellow, and/or orange for Pentecost Sunday. Andy Smith will make a presentation on behalf of Gideons, International, and a special offering will be taken. Then at 2:00, Rev. Dr. Gregg Hemmen, our Executive Minister of the Central Region will speak at the All Tribes service in our sanctuary. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
Yarn Hour (and a half) is coming soon! In the past, Community Baptist had a Prayer Shawl ministry where various items were created--hats, prayer shawls, and items for one's own friends and family. There is some interest in bringing that back. All are welcome--and if you don't currently have skills with yarn, we can teach you! Stay tuned for day and time.
The next Coffee Hour (and a half) for seniors will be on June 14 at 10:30 a.m. in our fellowship area. Friends, neighbors, and family are welcome.
